Valley home designed by Balance Associates Architects, located in Eastern Washington. This minimalist wooden cabin that has the main living area with a large window wall, to capture the heat from the sun. With the comfortable outdoor living area, to to enjoy the scenery of surrounding mountains.

Description from Architects:

A cabin perched above the Methow River valley in Eastern Washington. The prime building location on the site was a linear strip on the edge of a hill. This led to the development of an elongated floor plan that allowed all of the rooms of the cabin to have spectacular views of the river, valley and surrounding mountains.

The main living area has a large window wall that faces south to capture the heat from the sun as well as the view. Sliding glass doors open onto a sizeable deck and connect the interior space to the outside.

The exterior of the cabin was designed to reflect the rural character of the ranch and farm buildings of the area.
