This design using wood materials for kitchen sets, chairs, stairs, floor, and even the ceilings also use wood materials. This house is designed with full functionality that is using the upstairs as the children’s bedrooms and playroom. This home design uses some wall and window glass, so getting enough sunlight supply.

Description from Architects:

New dormers and gables enabled the upstairs to be converted to children’s bedrooms and playroom. A new open central stair visually connects all levels. Additions of a screened porch, deck and steps connect the main living level to the backyard. An open kitchen, dining and den create a center for daily living. Glass transoms, interior glass panels and new windows establish a visual connection between spaces and enlarge the house by visually extending the interior to the exterior. Where the old facade and plan were never reconciled with the site and the plan was dysfunctional many years ago, the new renovation is an easy, natural, flowing, functional, harmonious and beautiful sequence of interior and exterior spaces tailored for the enjoyment of modern living.
