The house in Whistler’s Spring Creek is conceived as a series of walls cutting into an extraordinarily steep site. The walls are composed of glass, concrete and wood, alternatively holding back the earth and opening the view. The spaces are open, functional and exploit the dramatic site characteristics. Views to the Tantalus range and an abundance of light are paramount considerations for this 4000 sq.-ft. home.
